He is widely recognized for entrepreneurial leadership—launching new practices, co-creating AI- and IoT-enabled products, and transforming early concepts into scalable, commercially successful offerings.

William Tincup is a thought provocateur who evaluates what is and questions why. With 20+ years of deep expertise in HR and talent acquisition, William has studied both practitioners and the technology that serves them. He is widely recognized as an influencer, podcaster, analyst, strategist, and speaker featured in major publications including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, Fortune, MSNBC, and Bloomberg News.

As co-founder of WRKdefined—a podcast network specializing in everything related to work—William holds the title "Editor, Analyst, Advisor & Host." He has podcasted more about HR and talent acquisition than anyone else, bringing unparalleled insights to the future of work. William is also a venture partner at Evergreen Mountain Equity Partners and Future Wrk Ventures, and serves on the Boards of Advisors for 25+ HR and TA tech companies.

William supports entrepreneurs and investors with strategic advice on market positioning, go-to-market strategies, messaging, pricing, competition, partnerships, product roadmap, and M&A. He holds a BA in Art History from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, an MA in American Indian Studies from the University of Arizona, and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University, along with six professional certifications including SHRM-SCP and SPHR.
